If you're a fan of comics like I am, you'll know that many comics tend to use the idea of the multiverse, alternate realities. Since Merle Dixon was killed off on the TV show, I've been thinking that it'd be a great idea for Image Comics to do a comic series about the Dixon Brothers where Merle doesn't die. It'd be interesting to have another comic that's an alternate reality to the show and the current graphic novels. Daryl and Merle are popular characters. It'd be badass to have an alternate reality, a comic series that primarily focuses on them. It might even be a cool idea if they made a comic series dedicated to Merle Dixon where we learn about his past more and the comic starts off with him and Michonne in the car. He makes a different choice and decides not to go after the Governor, and instead leaves the group and takes Michonne with him because he wants to protect her from the Governor.
The whole thing about Michonne and Merle is that there was always something between them that should have been explored more and I think a comic series could explore their relationship. I'd loved to see an alternate reality where Merchonne and Caryl happens. How would you feel about a Merle Dixon OR Dixon Brothers comic series?
